Testimony, Doctrinal Statement, Prayer Letters, Sending Church, & Missions Board
I got saved when I was around 8 years old following a service at our sending church, Morning Star Ind. Baptist Church of Easley, SC. I continued to faithfully go to church there until I was 16. At this point, there was some things that occurred within my family that caused me to get out of church. I lived a worldly and backslidden life for about 7 years, but however I got back into church in April of 2013. Kayla and I got engaged in Dec. of 2014 and about a week later I surrendered to preach. I then started studying at Andersonville Theological Seminary (ATS) where I gained the equivalency of an Associates in Biblical Studies. I also have done coursework towards a Bachelors of Ministry from ATS and a Bachelors of Theology at Tabernacle Bible College in Greenville, SC. We got married in April of 2016, and surrendered to missions in 2018. We were accepted with World Wide New Testament Baptist Missions (WWNTBM) in September of 2018. I was ordained at our sending church on 4/28/19. I have served in many unofficial capacities at our sending church that have helped to further equip me to do the ministry God has called us to. As far as secular education and work is concerned I have been a Certified Surgical Technologist since 2012 and have been working as such since 2013. I also have held various other medical jobs since 2009.
I got saved at the age of 4 at my house. My dad lead me to the Lord. My dad is a deacon at our church, my mom is the organist, and my grandma was the pianist until health reasons arose and she had to give it up. I have been blessed to have been raised by a Christian family. As far as education is concerned, I have an Associates in Early Care and Education. I also have worked at 2 different daycares, and I hope to use my education and experience to help us with a children’s ministry when we get to Montana.
